STAT-P is an Admission Requirement of the PNG University of Technology, University of Goroka and Pacific Adventist University.
Who is eligible to sit the STAT-P test:
All School Leavers (SLs) applying to PNGUoT, UOG or PAU
All Pre-Service Non-School Leavers applying to UOG and PAU.

The National Department of Education (NDoE) initiated the Primary School Teacher Qualification Upgrade Program to address the need for content teachers in Junior High Schools due to the Education Reform and the introduction of the 1+ 6 + 6 model. The University of Goroka (UOG), the leading teacher training institution in the country has partnered with NDoE in this special project. The Junior High School content upgrade program is purposely developed for content upgrade to qualify Primary School Teachers with Diploma in Teaching (Primary) to teach at the Junior High School level in the PNG education system.
