The University of Goroka has received a significant number of applications with incorrect payment deposits that do not follow the required payment instructions. We are publishing this notice to clarify the proper procedure and avoid application rejection.
PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Each application requires a non-refundable K50 application fee. This must be paid exactly as instructed below:

Deposit exactly K50 per application.

Use the correct reference number: [Application Number] + [Your Surname]. Example: If your application number is A/16600 and your surname is Peter, write the reference as: A/16600 Peter.

Attach the bank receipt to your application in the BILUM system.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Applications with incorrect payment will be considered unsuccessful and cannot be processed. This includes:

Payments with incorrect or missing reference numbers.

Payments deposited into wrong account numbers.

Payments without proper bank documentation.
Why This Matters:
Our Finance team uses the BILUM system to verify payments by searching for your application number in bank statements. If you do not use the correct reference number format, the system cannot find and match your payment to your application, even if the money has been received by the bank.
If You Have Already Submitted Your Application with Incorrect Payment:
If you have already submitted your application with incorrect payment details, you must make another K50 deposit using the correct reference number and correct account number to ensure your payment can be verified and your application can be processed.
